Government allocates 90 million for the construction of the Moscow – Kazan HSR

The Russian government increased the authorized capital of Russian Railways by 25.9 billion rubles to develop the railway infrastructure. Of these funds, 90 million rubles will be allocated for the construction of the high-speed rail line Moscow-Kazan, according to the order of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. The document has been published on the government portal.

The remaining funds will be used to finance development of the infrastructure of the Moscow Transport Hub (6.3 billion), reconstruction of the M. Gorky-Kotelnikovo-Tikhoretskaya-Krymskaya section (9.51 billion) and integrated development of the Mezhdurechensk-Tayshet section of the Krasnoyarsk Railway (10 billion rubles).

It is noted that the allocated funds are provided in the Federal budget.
