On March 25, 2016, the extended meeting of the project office of the investment project “Construction of the “Moscow — Kazan” high-speed railway line” on the theme of “Consideration of circuit designs and project solutions for the contact network of the “Moscow – Kazan” HSR took place in Moscow . The meeting was attended by First Vice President of JSC “Russian Railways”, Director General of JSC “High-Speed Rail Lines” Aleksandr Misharin, Senior Vice President — Chief Engineer of JSC “Russian Railways” Valentin Gapanovich, Vice-President of JSC “Russian Railways” Oleg Toni and directors and specialists from Russia, China and France.
Director General of JSC “Mosgiprotrans” Aleksandr Dyatchin highlighted the main project solutions for the contact network of the “Moscow – Kazan” HSR and proposed some modifications to the Project Specific Technical Specifications (PSTP). Deputy Chief Engineer of the Chinese corporation CREEC Zhou Jian made a proposal for the design of the contact network taking into account the experience of the design in China.
The meeting program included the presentation of the reports of the Chief Expert on the contact network of the company SYSTRA Julien Rudge, the Chairman of the Working Group for the power supply of the Expert Council for the HSR technical policy, professor of Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University Anatoly Burkov, Chief Engineer of the Power Supply Administration of the Central Directorate of the infrastructure Eduard Shornikov and Deputy General Director of JSC "VNIIZhT" Aleksandr Kosarev.
