The President of JSC “Russian Railways” Oleg Belozerov noted in an interview with TV channel “Russia 24” that the project of the high-speed mainline is in the active stage of designing. He said that there have been several meetings with foreign project developers including developers from China and France.  “We already know how the mainline will run. There is one difficult place near the crossing of a river but we will find a technical solution just for one month. A short delay is possible but the project is in active stage”, Oleg Belozerov said. The President of JSC “Russian Railways” noted the considerable interest of the foreign companies in the project. “German and French colleagues are greatly interested in the project but now there is an issue concerning the funding due to sanctions. They tell to their governments that it is necessary to establish conditions for participation in the project. Today, it is comfortable for us to work with our Chinese partners”, said Belozerov.
