The construction of the Moscow - Kazan HSR can create more than 370 thousand jobs in various sectors of the economy and to initiate new manufactures or to provide the existing ones with orders”, the President of JSC “Russian Railways” Oleg Belozerov said at the meeting with the Head of the Chuvash Republic Mikhail Ignatyev on May 23, 2016. During the meeting, the possibility of the participation of the enterprises and organizations of the region in implementing the investment project for the Moscow - Kazan HSR construction.
Mr. Belozerov noted that the implementation of the project for the high-speed main line construction stimulates the development of high technologies and promotes the creation of innovative types of products. In addition, he recalled that at present, the consortium of designers is developing the project documentation including issues on the scope of and requirements for the supplied products. The President of Russian Railways expressed confidence that will be given to competitive Russian products.
