In the rhythm of high speed. We are celebrating 85 years!

JSC “Mosgiprotrans” is one of the oldest Russian design and survey institutes. The history of the institute is inseparably linked with the history of the country and its vigorous activity contributed not only to the extension of railway network but also to more rapid economic and social development of the regions distant from the capital.
In particularly, the institute was the general designer of the legendary Baikal-Amur Mainline Railway (BAM). Among the other important milestones in the activity of the Institute are such facilities as the Tynda – Berkakit section of the Amur-Yakutsk Mainline (AYaM), the line Berkakit – Tommot – Yakutsk, a railway line from the station Zeysk to the the Elginsk coal deposit,  site structures and facilities of the transport infrastructures for the Olympic Games in Sochi and others.

At the peak of technological progress

Today, the company constantly works on the implementation of latest technical achievements in projects, actively participates in the programs of JSC Russian Railways on the use of modern communication systems, means of railway automatics and telemechanics,  and on the upgrade of power supply and electrification systems.

The projects of "Mosgiprotrans" was used for creation of the unified system of monitoring and administration of a communication network joining JSC "RZD" with the Main Control Center in Moscow and regional centers on 16 railways, and the digital radio relay communication line which connects the main ground of the Far Eastern Railway with the Sakhalin Region has no analogues in Russia. For the first time, with the help of new types of modulation, the 130 km distance between repeaters above the waters of the Tatar Strait was covered. Besides, the repeater installed on the island of Sakhalin is virtually maintenance free and gets electricity from solar panels and wind turbines.

Personnel as a key to success

Engineers of over 40 different specialties work in JSC "Mosgiprotrans", among them three Honorary Builders of Russia, Meritorious Builder of the RSFSR, Meritorious Architect of the RSFSR, Honorary and Meritorious Transport Builders and Railway Workers, Doctors and Candidates of Technical Sciences.

The team of the institute on their own is able to perform all types of engineering surveys for construction including advanced remote sensing methods based on the decryption of aerospace images and laser terrain scanning with the use of satellite navigation systems.

Experience, knowledge and team unity enable the Institute to achieve significant results and recognition from colleagues and business partners.

We build the future together

Nowadays, glorified personnel works on the Moscow-Kazan High-Speed Rail Line project.

For the first time the idea of building HSR appeared in the late 1970ss during the preparation for the 1980 Olympics.
At that time the largest institution of the country performed front-end engineering and even laid corridors for constructing future lines.

But only in June, 2015 during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum the contract for designing the first ever Russian high-speed rail line was signed. This contract was concluded between JSC "High-Speed Rail Lines" (a subsidiary of JSC RZD) and the Russian-Chinese Consortium led by JSC "Mosgiprotrans" (with the participation of JSC "Nizhegorodmetroproject" and China Railway Eryuan Engineering Group).

Of course it is not an accident choice because the institute has participated in such projects on numerous occasions. For example, organization of high-speed traffic on the lines Saint Petersburg  – Moscow, Moscow – Krasnoe, Moscow – Novgorod.

Moreover, the specialists of Mosgiprotrans are well familiar with the Kazan direction. The reconstruction project of the line “Zeleny Dol – Yudino – Kazan” and the design of the station “Kazan-2” in 1970ss also are their works.

The work on the general scheme of the development of the Moscow Railway Hub and projects on updating the railway stations of the capital also will be a good aid.

JSC "Mosgiprotrans" confidently builds the future of the country!
